And much more besides…
Waterpark Het Lankheet
This is a large wooded area interspersed with heathland, fens, historic farms, meadows and old ash trees along the Buurserbeek stream. It is located between Haaksbergen and Eibergen. The country estate has a history that goes back 800 years, but it also looks ahead to developments which might take place far into the 21st century. Here you can experience how the landscape of the future will become an essential part of our daily lives.
In the village of Buurse you will find a traditional cheese maker and pancake restaurant. There is a riding school nearby and in the village of Boekelo you will find Labyrinth Der Zinnen and the Zoo, both of which are fun for visitors of all ages.
The holiday park is close to the picturesque town of Haaksbergen with its pubs and pavement cafés, charming Wednesday morning market and a wide variety of shops. Among other things, Haaksbergen offers:
- a variety of sports facilities including tennis courts, an ice rink, inline skating track, 9 hole golf course and an athletics track
- the Buurtspoorweg railway museum
- steam train rides between Haaksbergen and Boekelo
